Using the Asset Meter Updates Page
Users with Asset User Roles can update asset meter readings in GLOBAL. You can update one or more asset meters readings right on the Meter Updates page, or use the data import process to upload meter updates using an Excel spreadsheet. A link to the Meters Updates page is available on the following pages:
- the Assets list page.
- the Meters Templates page.
- the Meters and Conditions tab on an Assets detail page.
- the Task detail page when the Task includes an asset with an assigned meter.
You can use the search bar and filter to select meters based on information about assets, asset components, and meters. Selected asset meters are displayed in a list in the bulk meters update section where you can submit multiple meter updates at the same time. You can also use the data import process to upload meter updates using an Excel spreadsheet.

The search bar and search filters are located at the top of the Meters Updates page. You can use the search bar to find meters based on information such as asset name, other asset details, and component details. You can use the filters to customize the list of meters that is displayed in the bulk update section of the Meters Updates page. To open the filters section, select the Expand button .
Note: The filter section may be open and the bulk update list filtered by Asset when the Meters Updates page opens.

The bulk update section at the bottom of the Meters Updates page displays a list of meters available for updates. The list can be filtered using the Search bar and search filters at the top of the page. The bulk update list may be filtered by Asset when the Meters Update page opens.
You can use the Auto Fill feature, at the top of the meters list, to update multiple meters that share the same meter reading and reading date. You can also save time by adding different meter reading updates in bulk. Select the meters on the list, enter your custom meter readings and reading dates, then select the Submit button.

The data import process allows you to upload meter reading updates for existing asset meters in GLOBAL. To add meter updates using the data import process, you will first download and complete the Meters Template spreadsheet, then import the completed spreadsheet to GLOBAL.
