Mobile Technician Home Screen
Use the Home screen to view tasks, plan your workday, and record details such as task time and parts used. Tap on a task view task details such as due date and asset. The Home screen shows tasks that both:
- are assigned to you or your Shop task queues, and
- have a start date in the past.
The Home screen has two sections: Started Tasks and Up Next.
STARTED TASKS
The Started Tasks section is the place to keep track of today's planned tasks. Create your list of planned tasks by dragging tasks from the Up Next section below. Tasks in the Started Tasks section have a quick-access timer available. You can:
- Drag tasks to the Started Tasks section to update the task status to Started and use the quick-access task timer.
- To use the task timer, tap the timer tab on the left side of the task card.
- Tap on a task to record parts, add photos, enter comments, or record a signature.
- When you are done with a task, tap on the task to change the status to Complete and send the task to the Summary screen.
UP NEXT
The Up Next section displays tasks that are available to be added to the Started Tasks section. Tasks in the Up Next section have a task status of New or Hold. You can:
- Sort tasks by labor assignment, priority level, or due date.
- Drag tasks to the Started Tasks section to update the task status to Started and make the quick-access timer available.
- Tap on the Add button to add a photo to a task.
- Tap on the Add button to scan an asset barcode to create a new task, or create a new task using the new task form.
